SEVEN SAINTS | aUG20

This is a collection designed for the current consumer, one that needs a sustainable replacement for their fast fashion addiction. Fast fashion slowing down, and committing to a circular economy would make 'throw away' fashion less of an issue, as the waste can be put back into the system. The designs compromise the connotations of how eco-friendly fashion is depicted, by making sustainability fashionable and affordable.

The collection offers products that can be altered to how it is worn according to the place that they will be attending, suitable for the modern busy lifestyle as a functional product with a purpose. Additionally being a desirable product that is on trend.

The products end of life is considered through design and construction. Designs are developed that can be deconstructed for recycling purposes. Designing with end of life in mind maintains the value and quality of fibres, preventing such issues as post-consumer waste.

The use of materials are made up of pre and post consumer waste, recycling and reducing the use of natural resources would be massively depleted. As well as making use of the waste that we have all contributed to, and are fully responsible to take care of. Alongside Land to Market certified leather which is a form of regenerative farming that is beneficial for the earth.
